Oceanview Brand Liquid HEC is a nonionic, ultrahigh molecular weight hydroxyethyl cellulose suspended in a homogenous, hydrocarbon-free, biodegradable, environmentally safe mineral oil. Liquid HEC contains 40% or 45% by weight high quality HEC dry polymer, it is used to impart highly shear-thinning rheological properties and suspension in a wide variety of water base fluids. Specifically for reservoir sections, to prevent clay particles from blocking reservoir pores and to protect the reservoir. Liquid HEC is insensitive to electrolytes and will not produce sediment residues in high-salinity environments, making it an excellent reservoir protection agent product.

Application
Liquid HEC is mainly used as a thickener completion and workover of a price or divalent metal salt system, or no damage to the preparation of drilling fluids, drilling for oil build regional vertical wells, deviated and horizontal wells. Liquid HEC thickener with a high apparent viscosity and dynamic shear and low shear. It controls fluid loss and the formation of a thin cake, decided it will not appear drilling problems. Completely dissolved in hydrochloric acid determines it will not build oil region produced the injury.
Liquid HEC is one of the main thickener, it can be paired with different specifications of CaCO3 plugging sticky ball for leakage formation plugging.
