Oceanview brand Liquid HEC LIQUID-VIS is a nonionic, ultrahigh molecular weight hydroxyethyl cellulose suspended in a homogenous, hydrocarbon-free, biodegradable, environmentally safe mineral oil. LIQUI-VIS contains 40% or 45% by weight high quality HEC dry polymer, it is used to impart highly shear-thinning rheological properties and suspension in a wide variety of water base fluids. Specifically for reservoir sections, to prevent clay particles from blocking reservoir pores and to protect the reservoir. LIQUI-VIS is insensitive to electrolytes and will not produce sediment residues in high-salinity environments, making it an excellent reservoir protection agent product.
