Description

Xanthan Gum Industrial grade is a premium quality biopolymer powder designed to provide maximum solids suspension and hole cleaning in vertical and highly deviated wells as well as horizontal directional drilling applications. Oceanvis Xanthan gum is a distinctive product and able to produce a thixotropic shear thinning fluid. Oceanvis Xanthan gum also acts as a very effective mud filtrate viscosifier. Oceanvis Xanthan gum super is a high quality biopolymer which meets the API 13A Specification 19 Section.

Application & Advantages

Application/Function
Viscosify fresh water and brine-based fluids used for drilling, milling, underreaming, and gravel packing operations.
Suspend bridging agents and weighting materials in fresh water and brine systems.

Package

Recommended Treatment
Add Oceanvis Xanthan gum super in concentration of 1.0 to 3.0 kg/m³ (0.4 to 1.1 lb/bbl) to drilling fluid. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Package and Storage

Oceanvis Xanthan gum super is packaged in 50Lbs or 55Lbs (25kg ) multiwall kraft paper bags or according to customer's requirement.

Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
