Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic ,water souble cellulose ether that form films, water-retentaion,stability, adhesiveness, especially widely used for construction materials because it is choosen to enhance adhesion, water retention, and lubricity, shrink and crack resistance. Modified OV-CEL cellulose eathers improve on the slippage, brittle resistance resistance to pressure and tensile sex. Therefore, for cement and plaster based motars, Modified OV-CEL will be your best choice. It's white or off-white powder , non-toxic tasteless,and readily soluble in hot or cold water.
OV-CELL HPMC also used for cersmics,tobaccos and detergents,etc.

Application & Advantages

Main applications:
HPMC may serve as thickening agent, dispersant agent, emulsifying agent or film-forming agent, and its industrialized products may be applicable to the production of daily chemicals, synthetic resin, construction and coating materials.

It is applicable to the production of following productions in the recipe of construction materials.

cement base brick/tile and the bonding between tile and ba
plaster for gypsum board base
cement-based structural plaster

25kg per bag (multi-layer paper bag with polyethylene interlayer)
HPMC can be stored for 12 months in sealed bags under dry and cool circumstance. The opened bags should be sealed as soon as possible to avoid moisture.
