LCM PLUG is a water swellable but not water soluble, 100% crystalline synthetic polymer. Plug polymer absorbs hundreds of times its own weight in water. It is intended for use primarily as a lost circulation material for horizontal directional drilling.

Application/Function

Recommended Treatment
Add PLUG in concentration of 12.0 to 24.0 kg/m³ (4.2 to 8.4 lb/bbl) of fresh water or the drilling fluid before being pumped down into the cavity or when spotted across the thief zone. Avoid pumping the Plug in a dry state and ensure consideration has been placed on down hole tooling tolerances and lost circulation conditions. When using Plug in diamond coring ensure the tube has been retrieved, the suction as well as any other internal pump screens have been removed before pumping the solution. Repeat as necessary to regain circulation

Safe Handling Recommendations
Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.
Package and Storage
25kg bags, 15Kg Pails or according to customer's requirement.
This product has moisture absorption. For prevention of moisture, it should be sealed and stored in dry shade, if it fall into the eye, please rinse with water for 10 minutes.
