Application & Advantages

Application
Potassium formate is used for solids-free workover and completion operations which require densities ranging from 8.4 to 13.1 lb/gal and to reduce potential formation damage resulting from clay swelling or clay dispersion or migration.
Potassium formate fluids provide an excellent chloride-free, environmentally benign alternative to more traditional high-density brines.

Recommended treatment
Formulate as per appropriate brine tables.

Package:
Powder: 25kgs or 1000kgs plastic woven bag with PE bag inside.
Liquid: Plastic drum or IBC tanks.
Attentions:

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is

2. Storage
Avoid from water and wet. Keep away from heat. Put in the place of dry and ventilate
