OBM Emulsifier OV-MUL is a kind of fatty acid derivative applied in the Non-aqueous base drilling fluids to emulsify the water in oil system. Application & Advantages

Technical Features
- OV-MUL is environment acceptable as highly effective emulsifier.
- It has both primary emulsifier effect and secondary emulsifier function as one emulsifier effect.
- OV-MUL can be applied in OBM/SBM without the activation of quick lime.
- Can be used in the temp up to 150 ℃.
- Pilot tests should be done to evaluate the organic clay for the OBM, try to use the YD-VIS to design the NON ORGANIC CLAY OBM/SBM accordingly.

Guideline for application
The recommended concentration of OV-MUL is 2.0%-4.0%(20 to 40 L/m3) of total circulating mud volume. The concentration should be adjusted according to the mud system and Oil to water ratio. Pilot tests should be done prior to the OBM/SBM preparation. Slowly add the OV-MUL into the oil base fluids with effectively running shear pump or mixing pump,prefer to use the mud guns to mix the emulsion if possible.

Bioassay information is not available upon request.Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described on the Transportation and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
OV-MUL is fatty acid derivative, which may cause irritation to eyes, skin or respiratory tract. OV-MUL should be added slowly to the mud system either by mixing through the hopper or chemical barrel. Do notcontact OV-MUL without proper safety protection.

Packageand transportation
Iron or plastic drum about 50L or 200L are used for package, or it can be required by customer with preventing leakage inner cup. And it should be taken care to avoid broking the drums by hard things in transportation and should avoid the package head standing. And it should keepin dry and ventilated storage and the period of validity is 24 months.
