Water-soluble alkaline earth metals, as calcium:

250 mg/kg, max


Residue greater than 75 μm:

3% max


Particles less than 6 μm in equivalent spherical   diameter:

30% max

Used to increase the density of all drilling fluids .

Advantages
Insoluble and chemically inert, except in specific brines
Non sag weight material
Low ECD fluids
Reduces abrasiveness with d90 of typically less than 30 microns

 

Package

Package and Storage
25kg bags, jumbo bags or according to customer's requirement. Avoid breathing dust. Wear respirator when airborne dust is present. Harmful by Inhalation. Danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure.
